    • Nettles, I hear ya but sadly I think it will take violence to change things. I wish it were otherwise. This is America, not Canada, and most of our major changes required violence going back to the Revolution. The Civil Rights Era is a good example but we still did not get it right. Over 50 years have passed and things may be at a boiling point. Let’s see what happens Saturday with Al Sharpton and “his people. ” That should be a good indicator of what happens next.

    • Not in Oakland, bottles and rocks thrown at cops, freeway blocked.

LA and Oakland will now compete to see you can riot the longest.

      Thanks Tracy and Sybrina!

      • cassandra – Our State has had its share of catastrophes, we are best known for Katrina. There was PLENTY of time for EVERYONE to evacuate New Orleans, LE/Volunteers went door to door to assist anyone w/children & the elderly to put on buses. MANY REFUSED to evacuate? WHY?? Because many hurricanes never hit, MANY were of the CRIMINAL MIND SET that wanted to hang back to LOOT & rob.

That’s exactly what happened, as soon as New Orleans lost electrical/power, the looting began, & when it flooded, MOST of LE quit. Endless video footage of criminals taking bats knocking out ALL the glass in front of expensive stores & especially PAWN Shops that sold guns, ALL STOLEN. The criminals didn’t try to hide their faces from Media Cameras, they were holding flat screen TVs or wearing a new mink in the sweltering heat. Those very guns that had been stolen from pawn shops or private residences were turned on helicopters that tried to land on helipads on top of hospitals to rescue the “intensive care patients, ” were SHOT AT & couldn’t land. MANY people DIED in hospitals because they couldn’t be rescued because of the criminal element, the thugs.

My point: Those that LOOT & BEAT innocent people are criminals, scumbags, & were criminals/scumbags BEFORE GZ was acquitted. MANY in New Orleans stayed to commit crimes such as murder, rape, & looting & did just that.

I wish LE would be more aggressive, people have the right to protest, they DON’T have the right to loot/assault the innocent, those are HATE CRIMES!

  1. I remember MOM saying that the ping logs showed TM was far away from the 7-11/RTL path during that 45 minutes that DD says he was hanging out at the mailboxes. And of course we’ve found out that DD met him in – what? – 2nd grade, and then didn’t “meet” him again until 2 weeks before the incident – and his friends on twitter are suspecting that she presented herself as some thin hot thing and that’s why they were talking so much on the phone. In other words, they hadn’t met again in person. So I’m listening to Piers Morgan ask, and DD provide, DD’s knowledged of what kind of guy TM was, because she “was the one who knew him best”.

Boy, I hope that stuff comes out one day.

    • SD has a thread at CTH, where you can ask any question about the case if you want to wade though a billion of them.

  2. I’m not one of the anti-O’Mara guys so don’t get me wrong, but on The View why is O’Mara even entertaining the idea that George profiled Trayvon partly because he was black? That is the dumbest thing I’ve heard O’Mara say. Even if he believes it himself, he really shouldn’t be going on TV and saying things like that. He knows the outrage about this verdict. Very disappointing for someone who is supposed to be George’s zealous advocate.

    • Agreed, this is where Sundance get it right. just saying….

O’Mara is slick, and a very capable media handler, he plays to the audience. West was very direct about what is required for a meaningful conversation, I think it was over most of the panel heads. As was the knock knock joke.

His performance on Hannity, 180′ the opposite

      • MOM tries to be lawyer even when does not have to, he would be the perfect politician, he is always allowing for things trying to have wiggle room no matter the situation. That is his problem, he always allows room for everything, West on the other hand is direct, he does not mince words, there is no it depends what he definition of is is, with West. To West it is or it isn’t, with MOM is it depends. To me MOM is like Bill “slick willie” Clinton but without his charisma.

            • boricuafudd, who gives a rats ass what SD thinks, I don’t, I lost respect for the CTH a long time ago. He is one man, he is not an attorney, he never was a Judge, he has a BLOG & he has one opinion.

Due to MOM/West, GZ is free, for that, we should all be grateful. MOM/West can never give back to their families all the time that was lost working countless hours on this case & they didn’t make a dime. GZ was lucky to have that team of Defense Attorneys. They ALL deserve every good thing that comes their way including any monetary payments won in Civil suits.

There is a much bigger picture, imo, the criticism should focus on the corrupt politicians & prosecutors that took GZ’s self defense claim , created a case, & has caused National unrest. Even the sorry President has taken advantage of the situation & by trying to FOCUS on his failed Gun Control stance.

              • “who gives a rats ass what SD thinks” LMAO
I agree art tart. Look the whole race thing is a cover for what the political motivation is here, and that being anti gun legislation. Wade through these peoples stances on gun rights. They have a history and if people did not see that when Obama again did not let a good crisis go to waste like the politicians didnt in Colordo, that is a shame. That is what CTH SHOULD be exposing as the true back drop here. The black racists are just taking advantage of the crisis as well. This never truly was about race but it has a whole lot to do with it as well. How did Obama get elected twice? He utilized his color, but he has a POLITICAL agenda.

                • It is well known when politicians can not reason to the people why they are doing something they feed off emotion in order to restrict a right. This includes exploiting dead children, mouring families, and causing division amoungst the people. It is an old political tactic used in politics around the world since the beginning of time.

                • Danny – I agree w/your thoughts. Obama got his ideas from another PIG, Rahm Emanuel, Obama’s good friend, formerly I think was “Chief of Staff for the administration” said it best:

Rahm (Mayor & referred to as “Godfather of Chicago”) Emanuel Quote: YOU NEVER WANT A SERIOUS CRISIS TO GO TO WASTE!

It is Rahm Emanuel, like Obama that had ALL the answers to the violence in Chicago. EXCEPT, like Obama, Emanuel’s agenda has failed miserable. One of the most violent cities in America, Chicago, has ONLY become more violent under Rahm Emanuel serving as Mayor.

                • Hey, guys if was an off-hand comment, I surrender. No mas, No mas! LOL

On the serious side of things, I agree this has very little to do with race and more to do with the politics of race. Using race as a wedge issue to divide the country, an emotional appeal to get what they would not get otherwise, right now the issue is gun control and SYG laws which had not play in the case but the stupid people think that it did.

        • “West on the other hand is direct, he does not mince words, there is no it depends what he definition of is is, with West.”

          Don West for President !

  3. Aty what point DOES the National Guard come onto the scene to STOP the violence against the innocent? Whatever happened to Tear Gas OR ANY other measures at their disposal if the demonstrations are going on in causing street closures, burning American Flags in the streets of America, or attacking the innocent?

I read they arrested 13, BUT, there were hundreds involved. imo, the CRIMINAL element can be videoed so LYING attorneys can’t claim it wasn’t their client. I am disappointed this hasn’t been handled more aggressively when LE/Mayors/Governors have the ability to STOP this.

HOW many innocent people deserve to be sacrificed to criminals & thugs for doing nothing but minding their own business? Government needs to “man up” INSTEAD of promising to address it, jmho.

    • Yep. Americans need to start teaching their children it is ok to punch a creepy a$$ cracka in the face, and to slam crakas heads into concrete. Parenting 101 under the Obama administration.

Angered by George Zimmerman’s acquittal in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, protesters around the country have begun vowing on social-media channels to boycott everything from Florida vacations to state-produced orange juice.

“Never again. Florida’s economy will suffer due to the loss and injustices of Trayvon Martin and his family,” Facebook user Toshia Lynn posted on the public page of Visit Florida, the state’s tourism-marketing agency.

Users on Twitter have begun campaigning under hash tags such as #BoycottFlorida and #NotFlorida. Their goal: To squeeze Florida’s influential tourism businesses, in hopes that they will in turn pressure state leaders into repealing the state’s controversial “Stand Your Ground” gun-rights law, which emerged as a flashpoint in Zimmerman’s trial.

“I honestly don’t think so. Most people are familiar with what’s going on, and they wouldn’t blame an entire state for what happened in a very isolated case,” said Abe Pizam, dean of the University of Central Florida’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management.

This is the FAULT of the Governor/Bondi/Corey/BDLR imho! NOW WHAT? Corrupt, there was NEVER evidence to convict GZ, Corey quelled the threats ONLY temporarily, the result was always going to be the same, imho.

LMAO, those attending the NAACP convention are spending LOTS of $$.

  5. Wow.. I guess no one wants to acknowledge what Witness B37 said but Cooper continues to replay the interview.

Has anyone seen any discussions about her in news aside from the positive ones?

  6. Rachel Jeantel: Won’t YOU PLEASE GROW UP?

Rachel Jeantel, Trayvon Martin’s friend, didn’t deserve the scorn heaped on her after testifying at the George Zimmerman trial.

But she didn’t deserve the applause she received Monday night during an appearance on Piers Morgan’s CNN show.

Jeantel had a chance to show her determined personality, and she soaked up the studio audience’s admiring reactions to her sometimes scathing comments. She was entertaining in dissing defense attorney Don West and poignant in recalling Trayvon.

The often juvenile Jeantel still didn’t seem to understand she had let down her friend, Trayvon, with her testimony at the trial.

She doesn’t deserve the blame for that erratic performance; the lawyers clearly hadn’t prepared her for her days at the trial or explained the seriousness of the situation.

A radio talk show Host has offered to PAY her bills & college tuition. LAMO! Guess he didn’t get the memo that Diamond/DD/catfish was 19 & still in high school & CAN’T READ so there is no end in sight for her graduation. Not likely DD will attend College because she would have to pass the SAME entrance exam as everybody else.

WHAT NEXT? a reality show? If baby mamas, (teen mamas w/drug habits) can get reality shows, imo, it could happen.

  7. Wow! DOJ goes after George Zimmerman.

The U.S. Department of Justice on Monday afternoon appealed to civil rights groups and community leaders, nationally and in Sanford, for help investigating whether a federal criminal case might be brought against George Zimmerman for the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, one advocate said.

The DOJ has also set up a public email address to take in tips on its civil rights investigation.

    • ANYONE could call in & make an acusation AGAINST GZ & GZ would again, have to defend himself.

Lawyer after Lawyer continues to state “ONLY GZ’s Civil Rights have been violated. I wish Dershowitz would take the challenge & represent GZ.

      • It may come to that GZ might have to file a federal lawsuit to get an injunction against the DOJ. This is getting out of hand and the precedent it is setting is a scary one. There is not doubt now that this is a political witch hunt and it needs to stop.

        • No question that George should fight back with legal action. It may be futile because “these people” are determined to get him but the government is not our master.

Unless he.. and us.. fight back, we are all doomed. It is time to draw a line in the sand. Many of you I often make reference to violence as a means to resolving our nation’s issues but our history shows that it is sometimes necessary.

Even the Civil Rights Era was visited by frequent turmoil and many suffered injuries, including death. We now draw near to a turning point where we all will have to choose between oppression or the freedoms for which our ancestors paid the ultimate price. Our passive, peaceful non reaction has not worked.

We are still paying the price for bringing blacks to America but what are we going to do about that mistake?

          Angry white guy ranting……

          • Understand your reaction, people have a limit mines has been reached as well.

It was said by some that if an AA was elected to our highest offices this would happen, they would put their race above the country, so far they have been proven right.

            • I am finished with standing down. Let it be whatever it is. I am though with feeding them. If they want a race war, so be it.

              • They are playing with fire, right now people are still asleep at the wheel, but more and more are waking up. Hispanics are blinded by the prospect of gaining “amnesty” but they should take a good at what is happening to George, anyone could be next.

      • Yes, true that, but others could help if they all spoke in unison……Dershowitz, Judge Napolitano, William Jacobson, Andrew Branca, Mike McDaniel… all quickly come to mind but there are many others whose voices should be heard.. Gerry Spence, Roy Black are good examples. The list is endless but where are they now? “White” Americans and those of all races who are law abiding citizens are in peril.

    • He is at the top of my list of favorites in America. I love him.. would make a brilliant President. Whatever he says, take it to the bank. Follow him on FB to stay informed.

    • I might add, that if we really want Corey to be held accountable, we need a lot more Andrew’s and Alan’s to speak up. There are a lot more of “them’ than us.

    • He is another intelligent, logical thinking, journalist, whose voice is seldom heard except for those who watch one little segment of Fox.

“Our people’s ” voices are drowned out by “Progressive” noise because “they” outnumber us. Sad. but whatcha gonna do? Take up arms?

      Thanks, Danny.

What if Trayvon Had Been White, and the Shooter Black?
    By Michael Filozof

What would happen if a black man armed with a handgun confronted “suspicious persons” in his neighborhood? What would happen if the “suspicious persons” were unarmed white teens, one of them was shot dead, and the shooter claimed self-defense?

This is not an exercise in mere speculation. We know what would happen in such a case. There would be no white mobs in the street chanting “No justice, no peace!” There would be no whites holding a “million hoodie march” in New York City. There would be no white equivalent of Al Sharpton, the professional race-baiter behind the 1987 Tawana Brawley hoax, leading marches in the streets of the shooter’s hometown. There would be no Federal civil rights investigation by the Justice Department. There would be no comments from a president who seems congenitally unable to keep his mouth shut on matters involving left-wing political correctness. And there would be no national media attention from biased, left-wing “reporters.”

We know this because in fact, such an event occurred in 2009 in Greece, N.Y., a suburb of Rochester. Roderick Scott, a black man, shot and killed an unarmed white teen, Christopher Cervini, whom he believed was burglarizing a neighbor’s car, with a licensed .40 cal. handgun.

There are many similarities between the Scott-Cervini case and the George Zimmerman-Trayvon Martin case in Florida. In both cases, there had been a spate of criminal activity in the neighborhood. In both cases, the shooters called 911 to report suspicious activity, yet chose to confront the unarmed suspects outside their residence and off their own property prior to the arrival of the police. In both cases, the shooters claimed that they felt threatened, and fired in self-defense. In both cases, local law enforcement applied relevant state law.

Unlike Florida, New York does not have a “stand your ground” law. New York law allows a person to use deadly force to defend his residence from home invasion only as a last resort. It does not allow the use of deadly force to prevent a property crime, and requires retreat if possible. Thus, while Zimmerman was not arrested under Florida law, Scott was tried for manslaughter.

  9. If Trayvon Martin’s parents file a lawsuit against George Zimmerman, they face a HUGE OBSTACLE: Florida’s “stand your ground” law.

That much-debated statute provides immunity not just against criminal charges but also against civil suits.

But on Feb. 22 — months before the criminal trial — Crump attorney Bruce Blackwell told Circuit Judge Debra S. Nelson that the family intends to sue. Its lawsuit would most likely be a wrongful-death claim or one alleging negligence.

Central Florida defense attorneys said Tuesday that just because Zimmerman was acquitted, that does not mean he won’t be sued, but it does indicate the evidence weighs in his favor.

If Zimmerman is sued in this case, a judge would determine whether “stand your ground” applies. If the judge rules it does, Zimmerman would be released from liability. If the judge rules against that claim, the case would be tried before a jury.

Moments after Zimmerman was found not guilty, defense attorney Mark O’Mara said, “If someone believes it’s appropriate to sue George Zimmerman, then we will seek and we will get immunity in a civil hearing, and we will see just how many civil lawsuits will be spawned by this fiasco.”

Retired Circuit Judge O.H. Eaton Jr., who served in Sanford for 24 years, pointed out that if Trayvon’s parents sue then lose a “stand your ground” hearing, they could wind up paying Zimmerman.

The statute provides that anyone who prevails in a civil “stand your ground” hearing may collect attorney fees, court costs, expenses and compensation for lost income.

If there is a Civil Suit, the bad news is Judge N would preside over it, just like the Civil Case against NBC. The consequences are HUGE if Crump, Sybrina, Tracy take this on & lose, THEY PAY!

MOM is confident they can beat this, I believe him!

  10. Kira Davis Interviews Cervini Family.wmv

    listen, fascinating

Kira Davis and Talitha McEachin interview the Cervini family on Kira’s show The Darkside on blogtalkradio.com. Christopher Cervini, 17, was shot and killed in 2009 in an amazing juxapositional story similar to the Trayvon Martin case. The family’s story is gripping and tragic.

  11. ROBERT ZIMMERMAN JR. Is calling this a WITCH HUNT!

In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News, Robert labeled the effort a “witch hunt,” asking, “How many other individuals has the DOJ witch-hunted in this way? I think that the state of FL when they embarked on their malicious prosecution of George would have liked nothing more than for he FBI to uncover any sign of racism that could be attributed to George. The FBI interviewed three dozen people who were close to George for any indication that George was a racist or had racist tendencies. What their investigation revealed thus far is that quite the opposite is true.

“Political persecution has reached a dimension unforeseen by many,” Robert Zimmerman continued. “It is inconceivable that high-ranking officials would endorse this kind of behavior. It is profoundly disserving that they facilitate it. I would remind the Department of Justice that a verdict has been reached in this case, and that the reputation of Sanford, Florida and the trust of the people of Sanford, Florida in regards to their law enforcement agencies is more important than continuing politically motivated and race-tinged assaults on an innocent man’s character.”

    He’s RIGHT!

    • freegz – this is FANTASTIC news, I hope MOM/West sue Corey NEXT for calling GZ a “murderer” after he was found NOT GUILTY.

Dershowitz said “Corey is not protected BECAUSE she was not working in the capacity of her job, where I assume many Prosecutors are protected, Corey & her team WEREN’T doing their job, they were promoting dissention.

  12. Dr. Alveda King told “The Steve Malzberg Show” believes the NAACP is RACE BAITING & getting paid!

The niece of Martin Luther King believes the NAACP and other groups are race-baiting with their call for a federal civil-rights case to be lodged against George Zimmerman, and believes they may be getting paid to do so.

“[The] NAACP and all of the organizations … We need to wonder why they’re doing that, what kind of checks and money they’re getting behind the scenes to stir us up into racial anarchy.

  13. Reminder, Daryl Parks stood with the parent of Trayvon Martin and told the press the case wasn’t about race. See 1:30 mark.

John Guy in his closing told Jurors “Race. This case is not about race. It’s about right and wrong. It’s that simple.”

Now the media is trying to tell the public, the white women are racist not to see that race was part of the case.

  14. RZ Jr seriously needs to reach out to someone with influence and a high profile in the LGBTQ media…

I’ve been browsing around the web to see the reaction from the LGBTQ community to Rachel’s interview and comments (pervert, gay rapist) on Piers Morgan last night, and it’s not good. Not good at all.

  15. Interesting. 4 of the 6 jurors issued a statement asking for privacy and saying that the comment made by juror B37 do not necessarily reflect their own. It was signed by all the other jurors except juror B29, the only minority on the jury.
